About Us

Tina grew up in Kranj, in the heart of Slovenia's mountainous region, so it's no surprise that the outdoors has always been her constant companion. Once a four-legged hiking buddy, Finn, showed up in her life, and they pursued his SAR certification together, her love for hiking grew exponentially. Although Slovenian peaks are her first love, the neighboring Dolomites have stolen her heart. Each year, she returns to explore new views and corners there.

Klemen has loved adrenaline sports since he was a youth. What started as mountain biking adventures around his locale in Škofja Loka grew into tougher challenges on the bike and eventually even climbing and mountaineering. Not everybody can pride themselves on having climbed in Yosemite National Park, Canada, or the Dolomites. Klemen is no stranger to Slovenia's challenging multi-pitch climbing routes either, and he doesn't plan on slowing down.

Anja's journey into the mountains shifted from occasional visits to genuine love. A rock-climbing course also inspired her to join her friends on climbing and bouldering day trips and weekend getaways. Though she says she prefers the warmth of sunsets, she'll begrudgingly wake up for sunrises if there's coffee involved! Her little secret is that she hasn't summited Triglav yet, so her license as a 'true Slovenian' is still pending.

When he was seven, Lan reached the summit of Triglav with his father, and the experience cemented his love for the mountains. He is still chasing that feeling today, on foot or his touring skis. In addition to his passion for hiking, Lan is an enthusiastic boulderer and a certified sport climbing coach. After work, he often dedicates his time to managing a local bouldering gym in Ljubljana and sharing his knowledge with others.

Samo's love for the mountains started in his childhood, sparked by the books of Slovenian alpinists like Tomaž Humar and Silvo Karo. He found their Himalayan adventures so inspiring that he dedicated himself to summiting the Slovenian Alps. During his college years, he made his first ascents as an alpinist, which brought him closer to his childhood idols. These days, he devotes his time to trail running but remains a frequent visitor of the mountains.

Sara has loved the outdoors for as long as she can remember. She adores sharing her passion for hiking and exploration with others, bringing them along for adventures, and creating memories with the ones she loves most. After sharing her love of exploring new trails and chasing views with her boyfriend for years, they are now passing on their love of the outdoors to their baby girl, who joins them on their adventures.

"Beautiful moments" is what Tilen says he's looking for in the mountains. Early on, he came across Kilian Jornet. Inspired by his light mountaineering and trail running, he signed up for his first trail-running races. Aside from that, he tackled the Slovenian Mountain Trail within a month with his girlfriend. They continued their adventures on Walker's Haute Route and are already planning new feats.

Initially introduced to the mountains by his parents, Matevž found his own way back to them during high school after summiting Triglav with his friends. After he read the mountaineering book “Pot” by the Slovenian alpinist Nejc Zaplotnik, hiking grew into alpinism, and he joined the Rašica mountaineering club in Ljubljana and attended their year-long mountaineering school. Today, the mountains remain where he feels most at home.

If you've ever received an email from us, chances are it was from Iva. Raised in the Soča Valley, with the Julian Alps practically her backyard, Iva’s passion for the mountains runs deep. Hiking is in her DNA, thanks to a family that’s been hiking for generations. When she’s not crafting hiking tours or scaling summits, she’s either painting or introducing her Australian partner (from the flattest continent on Earth!) to the wonders of mountain life.

For Gloria, hiking isn't necessarily about conquering peaks. Since heading on hikes with her family as a child, she valued the peace of being in nature. She prefers hiking as a way to explore new places at a more relaxed pace. Although she enjoys trails that include historic sites and offer stunning views, she's mostly looking forward to good food along the way and catching a beautiful sunset to add to her collection.

Hungry for our lunch leftovers and hikes with his owner, the office dog Finn is our key member. As a certified Search and Rescue (SAR) dog, his adorable snout is not only trained to sniff out who brought snacks to the office but also to help find those who wandered off the trail. Always full of energy, he loves exploring the world. His proudest achievement was strutting around at an elevation of over 3000 meters on Maltatal.
