This unforgettable Alpine journey links two of the most iconic peaks in the Swiss Alps—Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. Over several days, you’ll hike from the lively mountain town of Chamonix to the picture-perfect village of Zermatt, following high trails, remote passes, and glacial valleys.
The journey takes you through some of the most scenic sections of the Alps, from the panoramic Grand Balcon Sud overlooking Mont Blanc to the quiet and rugged Turtmanntal Valley. Along the way, you’ll pass turquoise lakes like Lac Blanc and Stellisee, cross high alpine passes such as Meidpass, and visit striking natural landmarks like the Glacier du Trient. The trip ends with a ride on the legendary Gornergrat Railway—one of the most scenic mountain trains in the world, offering jaw-dropping views of the Matterhorn.
Designed for experienced hikers, this route blends famous trails with lesser-known gems. You’ll stay at huts like Fluhalp and Hotel Weisshorn, as well as comfortable valley hotels where you can relax and recharge.
We take care of the logistics so you can enjoy the experience without worry. Your accommodation is booked in advance and you’ll receive a detailed hiking handout with maps, route notes, and our personal tips.
*Please note: While public transport fees are not included in the price of this tour, rest assured - your digital guidebook will include clear information on where and how to purchase tickets, along with timetables and route guidance to ensure a smooth journey.
